5 Favourite lyrics

17:44

I start my Art Foundation course at college next week, and we were given a little project to do over summer. We were given a list of things to collect in a shoe-box, in which we'll then be working from when we start.
As part of the list, we have to choose 5 favourite lyrics. And me, being a massive music fan, thought it'd be quite easy. But turns out I have way too many favourite songs, and way too many favourite lyrics.
But I have finally settled on some, and I thought I'd share them for this blog post.

1) ''Somewhere down the road, your stars will show" - All Ends Well, Alter Bridge
2) "Throw matches to see, what you can ignite" - Fire, Fire, Heaven's Basement
3) "Forever trusting in who we are, and nothing else matters" - Nothing Else Matters, Metallica
4) "Take the pieces and build them up to the sky" - Machines, Biffy Clyro

5) "Never let them take the light behind your eyes" - The Light Behind Your Eyes, My Chemical Romance

By all means, these aren't all my favourites and I might change some of them for my project when I start, because I will probably remember more by that time. I also realised that some people may find that most of these songs are quite sad, or meaningful, depending how you'd want to describe them. But they are some of my favourites anyhow, and I decided to put a link for each song just in case anyone was interested.
